I used the Secret Garden set to create my scenic card.  The background is Color Burst and the Garden Gazebo Whispers die from Die-Versions.  The main image and floral key were colored with Copics and fuss cut.  Ballerina, Daisy, and Cloud Nine Velvet Glitters were added using a glue pen.

Raspberry Tart Embossing Powder was used to heat embossed the sentiment at the bottom and also along the edges of the blue layer.  The little flowers are from the same Gazebo die.

The next stop on our blog hop is Jess.  Enjoy!

Thinking Of You

The lovely floral bouquet image from the new Thinking of You stamp set is featured on today’s card.

Only different areas of the flowers were used to stamp the front of this mini card, along with the background side panel.  It was stamped with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with Coffee Embossing Powder.  The flowers on the mini card were colored with watercolor.

The mini card opens to reveal the sentiment, heat embossed with Coffee EP, on a blue insert that has been punched to coordinate with the border on the card background.

Strips of 1/8" Double Sided "Tear-ific" Tape covered with BronzeSplendor glitter were used to add design.

Winter Wonderland

Winter is here and some of you already have snow.  It sure is getting cold where I live and rumors of snow this week are floating around.  This card shows the fun side of winter.  For my sweet students nothing is better than building a snowman!

This card features the Just For Fun Snowman image, colored with Copic Markers.  I used Gina Marie’s Stitched Circle Dies to create a look similar to a snow globe and Copic Markers were used to provide coloring and edging on the dies.  I actually colored the smaller circle frame from the back with one color on top of the other to get the slightly mottled affect.  The Winter Wonderland from JFF’s Seasons Word Block was stamped with Distress Ink and die cut with the end of a Spellbinders’ Label Die.  It was edged with Copic Marker.

Keep warm this week!

Make Your Heart Sing

I have a fun card to share today using the new Sing On Stamp Set.

The little kitty is stamped with Memento ink and colored with Copic Markers.  It was die cut with Gina Marie’s Stitched Square die.

The sentiment was embossed with Coffee embossing powder on the bottom of a piece of designer cardstock, die cut with Gina Marie’s Stitched Rectangle die.

Everything is layered on some cat themed designer cardstock.  Though this cardstock was already sparkly, you can get the same affect by using Versamark ink and Sparkle Embossing Powder.  I added a little more bling by die cutting cardstock covered with Super Adhesive with a Memory Box Party Music die.  After removing the protective layer, the die cut is covered with Flaming Orange glitter and added to the card front.

Happy New Year

I hope you have had a wonderful time during the holidays.  I want to wish you a Happy New Year and share a card to go with.

This card uses Just For Fun  rubber stamp images.  Their New Year Frame is stamped in Distress Ink and cut  to surround the Celebration image of two champagne glasses.  The Fireworks image is stamped with Versamark ink on top of the frame and a glitter pen was then used to trace the Fireworks images.  A little sparkle was also added to two glasses and confetti streamers.

The dark blue background layer was also stamped with the Fireworks image, this time using Distress Ink.  Once again I traced the images with a glitter pen to give some wonderful sparkle.  I also ran the pen around the different layers.

Thank you for all your support and sweet comments in 2015.  I hope you will continue to visit for more inspiration throughout 2016!
